The historical roots of Shobhit University can be traced back to the establishment of Hindu Anglo Nagrik Inter College in 1924 by the grandfather of Dr. Shobhit Kumar and Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra. Founded by Babu Kedar Nath Ji in Gangoh, District Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the institution, now known as Hindu Rashtriya Inter College, marks the beginning of a legacy in education that would eventually lead to the foundation of Shobhit University.
