To address these needs, many IT applications are being developed to provide better support and education to the agricultural academic community and farmers. To provide farmer-friendly content for the Agriculture sites, there is a strong demand for graduates with knowledge of the Agriculture domain and a strong background in software. The Centre for Agri-Informatics is to impart conceptual, theoretical, and applied knowledge of information technology, management, informatics, and agriculture. The Centre develops human resources with the right skills, knowledge, aptitude, and leadership qualities for the effective design and implementation of ICT-enabled Agricultural production and extension services to cater to the needs of industry, research, extension, and scientific organisations in the global era, in the emerging field of agri-informatics and related areas. The B.Tech. in Agriculture Engineering course is designed so that the graduate can transition from agrarian science to Agricultural technology.

Admission to B.Tech. Agriculture Engineering in Delhi NCR is open to a student who passed/appeared Intermediate / Higher Secondary (10+2) from any approved Board with a minimum of 50% marks in PCM/PCB.
Admission Procedure

The admission shall be granted based on a valid score in CUET (UG) / JEE / UPSEE, or SUNET. Candidates who have a 3-year Diploma in Engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government, or who have passed B.Sc. degree from a recognised University with at least 60% marks, and having passed the Xll standard with Mathematics as a subject, may be admitted directly to the 2nd year of the program.
