The Inaugural session of the #SmartIndiaHackathon2023, that aims at bringing in a competitive mindset among students and inculcating the culture of problem solving and promoting entrepreneurship started off today at nodal Centre, Shobhit University. The inauguration of the Grand Finale was honoured by Shri Kapil Dev Agarwal ji, the Honorable Minister of State for Vocational Education and Skill Development of the Uttar Pradesh government, Hon’ble Chancellor, Shri Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra ji and Nodal Center Officer, Mr. Nilesh Gujar ji.
During the event, Chief Guest Shri Kapil Dev Agarwal ji urged students to embrace curiosity and seize every opportunity, stressing that success stems from teamwork. Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra emphasized the role of innovation as the driving force propelling us forward, highlighting the Smart India Hackathon as the platform to redefine and shape the future. They applauded the participants for their dedication, hard work, and innovative spirit, expressing confidence that these efforts would undoubtedly lead to a remarkable grand finale for #SIH.

Celebrating the remarkable achievements at the Smart India Hackathon-2023! This event, culminating after an intense 36 hours, not only fostered a competitive spirit among students but also instilled problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial enthusiasm. The event was honoured by representative of the Punjab government, Mr. Ravinder Pal Singh ji, Deputy Director of the Employment Department, Ms. Shruti Sharma, IAS officer (2021 Batch), Hon’ble Chancellor, Shri Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra ji and Nodal Center Officer, Mr. Nilesh Gujar ji.
During the event, Mr. Ravinder Pal Singh ji praised the participants for their exceptional work, acknowledging their outstanding solutions. IAS officer, Ms. Shruti Sharma, encouraged students, emphasizing the importance of problem-solving for future success. Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra ji applauded the innovative drive of the participants, foreseeing a remarkable finale for SIH through their dedication.
The event saw thorough evaluation by the jury, considering aspects like solution presentation, innovation, technical feasibility, execution, teamwork, and impact. Team Divine Devs emerged as the first winner, representing Gramaudyogik Shikshan Mandal, Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Team Pipeline Brokers from St. Joseph College of Engineering, Chennai, Tamil Nadu secured the second position. Remarkably, Team Black Pearl and Team Go-Getter tied for third place, showcasing their excellence from Chennai and Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
