NSDC and Shobhit University collaborate to offer Work Integrated Degree Programs in IT and management sectors, empowering students with domain-specific skills and practical exposure.
The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) OPERATIONAL UNDER THE Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shobhit University to address the evolving demands of the workforce. This collaboration aims to offer work-integrated degree programs focusing on IT and management sectors.
This joint initiative focuses on empowering students with domain-specific skills and contemporary technologies by providing theoretical knowledge with practical exposure. The program aims to equip the youth of India with the necessary capabilities to pursue successful careers by offering them structured internships, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training.
The event was witnessed by esteemed personalities including Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO and Managing Director of NSDC International, and Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra, Co-founder & Chancellor of Shobhit University and Chairman of the ASSOCHAM National Education Council.

I am confident that the Work Integrated Degree Program stands as a transformative initiative in empowering the youth with the knowledge and capabilities needed to forge meaningful pathways for employment and internships and prepare them for the future of work”, said Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, of NSDC and MD, NSDC International while speaking about the collaboration.

Students will have an opportunity to undergo training in various industry-relevant domains such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, marketing, business analytics, data science, and Global Business Management. The curriculums of these degree programs will aim to strengthen the fundamentals of students by providing them with a competitive edge in the job market.
The Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) will facilitate the online training. The collaboration ensures widespread implementation of skill modules by offering a valuable learning experience to students.
The collaboration between NSDC and Shobhit University is moving towards a new era of skill development and academic collaboration. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by offering Work Integrated Degree Programs.
