With respect to these needs, many IT applications are being developed to provide better support and education to Agriculture academia and farmers. In order to provide farmer-friendly contents for the Agriculture sites, there is a huge demand for graduates with knowledge of the Agriculture domain along with profound software knowledge. The Center for Agri-Informatics is to impart conceptual, theoretical, and applied knowledge of information technology, management, informatics, and agriculture. The Center generates human resources with the right skills, knowledge, aptitude, and leadership qualities for effective design and implementation of ICT-enabled Agriculture production and extension services to cater to the needs of industry, research, extension, and scientific organizations in the global era in the emerging field of agri-informatics and related areas. The courses in agriculture technology are formulated in such a way that the graduate is capable of molding Agriculture science to Agriculture technology.

Admission to B.Tech. Programs is open to a student who passed / appeared Intermediate / Higher Secondary (10+2) from any approved Board with minimum 50% marks in PCM/ PCB.
