On 09 July 2018, an International Conference was organized jointly by HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) South Korea and Shobhit University, Meerut in Shobhit University's auditorium. The chief guest for the conference was Mr. Atul Garg (Food and Logistics Minister Uttar Pradesh Government) and the conference was chaired by Shri Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra, Honorable Chancellor, Shobhit University.

The main objective of the conference was to bring everyone at a common platform for world peace. The program was started with the lighting of lamp and saraswati vandana. All the guests were welcomed with a bouquet. Prof (Dr) Poonam Devdutt, Director, School of Business Studies, Shobhit University presented welcome note.

Mr. Amit Prakash, Peace Ambassador, HWPL presented congratulatory address, who stated that more than ever, the world's interest in peace is getting high now. Therefore these conferences are being organized to end the war and realize peace.

Mr Prashant Anal, Coordinator of Indian branch, HWPL, with the help of a video explained the agenda of HWPL which is a non - government, non- profit organization in association with the United Nations Department of Public Information (UN DPI) and registered in UN ECOSOC.

Ms Elena Kim, Chief Manager of Indian Branch H.W.P.L. who came from South Korea, in her address presented the reason why there is a need of peace letter. She described various peace programs being run by HWPL to establish world peace. She said that the main objective of this program is to spread awareness for world peace in the youth category. In order to realize peace through DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War), young people are calling for one and spread peace culture and sign the peace letter.

Mr Atul Garg, Honorable Minister of Food & Supplies, UP Government, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. In his address he said that now is the time when everyone should sincerely think about world peace.
