Objective of the Course

Dr. Joshi holds B.Sc. (Agriculture) and M.Sc. Ag (Genetics & Plant Breeding) degree from G.B.P.U.A.&T., Pantnagar. She did MS and Ph.D. in Plant Science from IIT Kharagpur, India and completed her Post-doctoral studies at Forage and Range Research, Agricultural Research Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Utah, USA. She has more than 15 years of research experience in Molecular biology, Genomics, and Functional analysis of genes. Apart from these, she works in collaboration with scientists to elucidate the molecular mechanism for the identification and optimization of novel plant-based compounds/extracts into drug candidates.
