“Strategies for Effective Online Teaching”

Introduction

In the post Covid-19 era, the online teaching has become an incredibly popular way for learning so as to continue the school or professional education. Teaching an online course requires different methods from the traditional classroom. Online education demands more independence and teachers must also learn to engage a more diverse group of learners. The major challenge is that teachers new to online teaching occasionally adopt a technology-first approach to instructional planning. This perspective complicates the teaching process and result in poorer learning outcomes. Online professors should prioritize learning objectives before technology.

The workshop will emphasize on the importance to adapt or develop the skills for the online learning environment. The sessions will educate the teachers to make their materials effective and engaging for school goers. Workshop will enable the teachers to improve their online teaching pedagogy and make eLearning a successful experience for both teachers and students. This workshop will also educate about the available online learning technologies and identify those that complement the learning best. It will elaborate on online course’s structure, scheduling flexibility, will strive to recreate traditional campus-based course environment online.
