About the Course:

The course title “Entrepreneurship Development and Managing Startups: “Transforming Idea into Business”, is designed to give an in-depth understanding of the nature of enterprise and entrepreneurship and introduces the role of entrepreneur, innovation and technology in the entrepreneurial process. Entrepreneurship is both a way of thinking and of doing. The course content is relevant to those individuals who are thinking about starting a business or who are already in business- large or small, those who are interested in commercializing their own innovations or of others. The course is a blend of theory and practice therefore this course does not require any prerequisite and will be useful to understand innovation and its applications in different spheres of development and growth.

Objective of the Course

  • Adopting of the key steps in the elaboration of business idea,
  • Understand the technological, human, economic, organizational, social and other dimensions of innovation

Dr Neha Vashistha teaches in the area of General Management, Human Resources, Entrepreneurship and Organizational Behavior. She has a PhD and M.Phil. in Business Management. She has more than 8 years of academic experience and presently associated with School of Business Studies, Shobhit University, as Assistant Professor in the area of Management. Her research interests include Motivation, Job Satisfaction, Emotions and Social System. She has publications to her credit in reputed journals. She has also presented papers in different National and International conferences. She is a member of Center for Education Growth and Research (CEGR) and Meerut Management Association (MMA). She is guiding many Ph.D. and M.Phil. Research Scholars. She has been appointed as Reviewer in Inderscience Journal.
