| Prof. Durg Vijay Rai, M.Sc. (BHU, Varanasi), M.Tech. (IIT Delhi), Ph.D.(JNU), He was a Research Associate in Biomedical Engineering in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Louisana State University Medical Centre, USA from 1985-87. Served as a visiting Professor in Bioengineering Lab., Dept. of Orthopaedic Surgery, Loma Linda University Medical Centre, California, USA. After returning from US Dr. Rai worked in several capacities and last position he held was of Professor of Biophysics, Panjab University Chandigarh. His field of interest are Biomedical Physics and Engineering, Bioinstrumentation, Bioelectricity, Bioengineering, Biomagnetism, Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering, Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, Electrical and Dielectrical characterization of Bone eye lens, He has been actively engaged in research for last 30 years. He has worked in several national and international sponsored research projects. |
