Industry Engagement Initiative:
At Shobhit University, we understand that active engagement of the industry with the academia is vital for developing the required skills in the future professionals. To facilitate the industry in the current scenario of the skill gap on one hand and to enrich budding managers with the industry exposure on the other hand; an internship program has been incorporated in the course curriculum of MBA students by Shobhit University.

An internship is a wonderful and effective way to connect the acquired basic and core skills, academic knowledge by budding managers in the University and with the professional work arena of the industry. In this process both the industry and interns are mutually benefitted. On part of the industry it would significantly slash down the expenses to be incurred on talent hunt exercise and training of new recruits, whereas the interns will get an opportunity to further increase their potential and skills required for enhancing their employability. Moreover it will provide Best Match Hiring Opportunity to the industries, once internship is completed.

• Applicants should have appeared in the CAT / MAT / GMAT for the current session, with valid score upto February 2012 or later. Short-listed applicants will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection will be based on the Test Score, language proficiency and performance in the GD & PI.
  
  
• Candidates who have not appeared in any recognized entrance test will be required to appear in University Management Aptitude Test (SUMAT).
  
  
• Foreign/NRI/PIO applicants can apply by submitting GMAT scores.
  
  
• Final selection shall be based on performance in the CAT / GMAT / MAT / XAT / SUMAT, Academic Merit and subsequent Group Discussion and personal Interview.
  
  
• Girls candidate / Ward of defence personnel / physically challenged candidates shall be given a relaxation of 5% in the Merit list.
  
  
• The Faculty of Management Studies partners with a number of well-known international universities and institutions for academic exchange in the form of faculty and students for joint study, research activities and joint scientific and scholarly output. Our students also have an opportunity to study under progression agreements abroad. Among our international partners are Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia, University of Westminster, London, United Kingdom, Ternopil Ivan Pul'uj State Technical University, Ukraine, Association of International Accountants, United Kingdom etc.
